Former BMW manager Hans-Reiner Schröder celebrated with friends in Munich.

His old companion, Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder, could not be missing.

Munich – Udo Jürgens always knew it and Hans-Reiner Schröder is now putting it into practice: at the age of 66, that's when life begins.

At least his second life, because in his first life Hans-Reiner Schröder has already experienced everything in abundance: professional success, a unique career in which he has seen the whole world, luxurious parties, a wonderful family.

Everything is different now: the job as dazzling, always hard-working BMW governor (most recently from Berlin) is gone for reasons of age, the wife has separated and health is a little ailing.

Söder at a celebrity party for an old friend: "For him, I push all appointments aside"

"Now I'll take it easy and write a book," he says as he welcomes his dearest friends to Hugo's in Grünwald on Tuesday evening (May 10) - with champagne, sahimi and the Prime Minister as guest speakers.

"He's a real friend, you can count on him in good times and bad.

And for him I push all important dates aside," explains Söder.

They were once a busy trio: Markus Söder, Yannik Inselkammer from Augustiner, who died in a tragic accident, and Hans-Reiner Schröder, then BMW governor of Nuremberg.

All three "we rocked the city", as Söder says.

"Hans has brought real stars to tranquil Nuremberg." He also sparkles with charm, including among women.

Söder speaks from experience: together they once went through Nuremberg's discotheques.

The parties and nightlife trips have become fewer, the friends have stayed.

Ex-BMW manager celebrates in Munich - and Söder is not stingy with anecdotes

As management consultant Dr.

Yorck Otto, who graduated from high school in Munich.

Or the successful composer Ralph Siegel.

With him, Schröder once staged the new BMW 7 Series in a spectacular event: Schröder had the car lifted onto the Olympic Tower, and Siegel composed the sound for it.

Speaking of sound: Siegel gave Schröder tickets and a CD for his Zeppelin musical in Füssen.

Also celebrating: estranged wife Katerina, with whom Schröder has a good relationship despite the ongoing divorce, their 13-year-old daughter Karoline, head of the Heart Center Prof. Dr.

Rüdiger Lange with his wife, the artist Tamara Barth, Simone Ballack, PR lady Birgit Fischer-Höper, Sabine and Ralph Piller, who are very harmonious again, and actress Nicole Belstler-Boettcher, who has not even known Schröder for a week: " He approached me in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof.

We got along well and he invited me." A real "model Bavarian", as Söder describes his friend: "Charming, witty and very serious for someone who has dealt in cars."
