A three-month-old child was urgently admitted to the Necker hospital, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, after an accident which occurred Thursday, at the very beginning of the evening, in Puteaux.
It was almost 7:30 p.m. when the stroller where the baby was installed was hit head-on by a scooter traveling at high speed rue des Fusillés de la Résistance, a long artery of several kilometers that connects Puteaux to Suresnes, via Nanterre, from the roundabout -point des Bergeres.
According to the first findings and the first testimonies, the mother of the child was indeed crossing the road on the pedestrian crossing at the time of the accident.

The young man who was riding a scooter in the same direction of traffic did not show the same civility.

Quickly taken care of by the emergency services, the child was transported, under police escort, to the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital center, specializing in pediatrics.
The 19-year-old scooter driver was arrested before being taken into custody.
