As for apartments, prices in old properties are soaring in Montgeron.
In this town on the edge of the Sénart forest, the square meter is displayed at 4,042 euros, according to figures from Meilleurs Agents, with an increase of 3.7% over one year.
Only five other towns in the department exceed this bar of 4,000 euros per square meter: Gif-sur-Yvette, Orsay, Palaiseau, Verrières-le-Buisson and Wissous.
