The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the evacuation of 127 Russians and foreigners from Kherson Province into Russian territory.
"Yesterday, the Russian military secured the evacuation of 127 citizens of Russia, Syria, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine to the territory of the Russian Federation," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry explained that the Russian military secured the evacuation of everyone who expressed their desire to leave the areas of the special military operation, and this was done by buses or special means of transportation, and they were escorted until they entered Russian territory.
The ministry confirmed that the evacuation of foreigners is carried out in accordance with the calls of the embassies of their countries to help ensure the safe evacuation of their citizens from the territory of Ukraine and based on the requests submitted to the Russian military command office in Kherson.
Since the beginning of the special military operation to protect the population of Donbass, the Russian military has evacuated about 700 citizens of foreign countries from the Kherson region to the territory of the neighboring Russian Republic of Crimea.
