A member of the Russian State Duma, Mikhail Sheremet, revealed that about 3,000 residents of the city of Mariupol have gone missing since 2014, suggesting the involvement of Ukrainian forces in this.

"The Ukrainian forces and their Nazi battalions carried out reprisals against all their opponents and those who support Russia, as about 3,000 people have gone missing in Mariupol since 2014, and these are official figures," TASS news agency quoted Sheremet as saying in a television interview.

In turn, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian presidency, Georgy Muradov, indicated that there are people still behind bars and in the basements of the Ukrainian security services.
