An individual was placed in pre-trial detention on Friday May 13 in Saint-Nazaire after an anti-narcotics operation during which several kilos of drugs and numerous weapons were seized, AFP learned from the prosecution.

The police operation was carried out on Tuesday at a deal point in the Bouletterie district of Saint-Nazaire, according to the public prosecutor, Sylvie Canovas.

According to the magistrate, an individual had fled upstairs at the sight of the police and was "

3200 euros

” in cash were discovered.

Placed in police custody, the suspect, aged about twenty, of Algerian nationality and in an irregular situation, was referred to the prosecution on Friday for an opening of information, according to Sylvie Canovas.

He was indicted by the examining magistrate "
