(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - Eight out of 10 students would like a "report card" also for teachers.

This is one of the data that emerged from the survey conducted by Skuola.net with the National Association of Deans of Lazio, on a sample of 5,650 middle and high school students.

For 59% of those in favor of an assessment for teachers, the report should be drawn up exclusively by students.

19% would instead have their parents assisted them, 15% would entrust the task to inspectors of the Ministry of Education and there are those who propose to declare teachers from other schools or specialized research institutes (3%).

Among all, the hypothesis of a satisfaction form on the work of the teachers to be filled in anonymously at the end of the year is widely accepted (87%): among the parameters to be evaluated,

Furthermore, 90% of the interviewees are in favor of carrying out an evaluation of the organization of their school, administration, teaching, extra-curricular initiatives and structures.

On the other hand, the hypothesis of a vote for school executives (60%) and technical-administrative staff (56%) is less consensus.

"A distracted school and little attentive to the children of the XXI century, this is the picture that emerges from the survey", comments Mario Rusconi speaking with ANSA, and adds: "The interviewed students did not reject teachers and principals, but they postponed the system to September Italian school who do not feel close to their current way of being and living society. Teachers who are often not very empathetic who have difficulty communicating, and who rarely involve students in their way of doing school ".

Rusconi always adds: "Our young people through the contemporary media continually compare themselves with friends from other European countries, becoming aware of their educational reality.

updating teachers is fundamental ". Rusconi always continues:" In the timid years of reforms have been done in this sense, unfortunately always shipwrecked into thin air.

Evaluating the school and those who work there can be of enormous help to government institutions precisely to improve the educational outcome of our students. "Adds Daniele Grassucci director of Skuola.net:" The students interviewed did not take revenge on report cards and ballots, but by responding to our survey they clearly expressed the willingness to help build a better school environment.

It is unthinkable to think that the poor results of our school system - we only think of the pitiless results of the Invalsi tests - depend only on the lack of commitment of our students ". Finally concludes Rusconi:"

In order to be aligned with that of the majority of OECD countries, the Italian school must find the strength to renew itself from within.

A school system, the Italian one, with various weaknesses that make it unsafe even for the eyes of those concerned, that is, the children.

Young people Boccianol the school organization because it is far from reality.

Listening to and paying attention to the students on the part of the school does not mean replacing the role of parents but it can be, instead, a different way to accompany our youngsters in their growth who live like everyone else the social transformation of these years ".
