His baguette won ahead of 134 others submitted for the competition - 57 were not tasted because they did not meet the criteria for size (50 to 55 cm) and weight (250 to 270 g).
The 14-member jury, chaired by Olivia Polski, deputy mayor of Paris in charge of trade, crafts, liberal professions and artistic and fashion professions, and composed, among others, of Guillaume Gomez, former -chef of the Élysée and personal representative of Emmanuel Macron for gastronomy and food, and of the starred chef Mory Sacko, decided between the competitors on the aspect, the cooking, the crumb and the honeycomb, the smell and taste.
The winners of the 28 previous editions claim that this prize has brought them

Last year, the winner, Makram Akrout, of the bakery Les boulangers de Reuilly, had not been contacted by the Élysée, after a controversy due to old posts hostile to France having resurfaced.
