Prosecutors notably accused him of sharing classified information during meetings with foreign diplomats.
He was released on Thursday under judicial supervision and left Ankara prison as soon as the court decision was known, in the middle of the night, awaited by his lawyers and his family, according to the official Anadolu agency.
According to the Hürriyet newspaper, the prosecutor opposed his release and an Ankara criminal court ordered his arrest again.
