Two Palestinian prisoners, Awawda and Rayan, continue their hunger strike

The two Palestinian prisoners, Khalil Awawda and Raed Rayan, continue their open hunger strike to protest the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.

And the Palestinian Wafa news agency quoted the Palestinian Prisoner Club as saying in a statement today that the prisoner Awawda continues his strike for the 72nd day, amid a deteriorating health situation that becomes more and more dangerous with the passage of time and with the refusal of the occupation to transfer him to the hospital or release him.

The club indicated that the occupation authorities continue to abuse the prisoner, Awadeh, who has been detained since December 2021, in an attempt to break his strike by holding him in a solitary cell and depriving him of visiting his relatives.

The club indicated that the prisoner, Raed Rayan, who has been detained since November 2021, continues his strike for the 37th day, and suffers from pain in the head and joints, and is unable to walk and moves in a wheelchair.
