The same evening, demonstrators surrounded the homes of three conservative judges, Samuel Alito - the origin of this note -, Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts.
These scenes particularly worried the Senate which, on May 9, unanimously passed a law to provide "
immediate protection
" to the nine judges of the Supreme Court and their families.
