Even William and Kate are not indifferent to their fate.

We've tried everything, but my body just doesn't play along anymore," BBC podcaster Deborah James (40) said goodbye to her more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.

In the final stage, the fighter must prepare for death.

William (39) and Kate (40) also responded to their deeply sad farewell letter.

"Every once in a while there is someone who wins the hearts of the nation with their joie de vivre and their stubborn desire to give back to society," read the touching lines of Prince William and Kate Middleton with love to Deborah.

After several surgeries and chemotherapy, treatment for her colon cancer was discontinued.

James has no more chance to get well.

But she wants to save others from the same fate.

A few days ago, the mother of two announced in no uncertain terms when she said goodbye that she was setting up her “Bowelbabe Fund” (“bowel cancer”).

The fund is a charity for people suffering from the insidious form of cancer.

The success exceeded all expectations, because according to "Mail Online" more than three and a half million euros have already been received.

According to the news platform, around one million pounds (almost 1.2 million euros) are added every day.

The money will go to cancer research.

She is now in home hospice care with her "incredible family," Deborah told her fans.

You won't feel any pain.

She spends her final days at her parents' home in Woking, south-west of London.

"No one knows how long I have left, but I can't walk anymore, I sleep most of the day and most of the things I took for granted are just pipe dreams," she says of her condition.

William and Kate also reacted: "We are so sad," writes the ducal couple on Twitter.

With their words they express what many participants may lack the words for.

They also made a promise to Deborah that she would be happy.

You want to keep an eye on the foundation.

"We promise to support the 'Bowelbabe Fund'".

The parents of three also addressed a mother who now has to say goodbye to her 14-year-old son and her 12-year-old daughter in very personal words: “Deborah, our thoughts are with you, your family and your friends.

Thank you for bringing hope to so many people living with cancer.”
