The Sauerlach municipal council decides to implement the wind power project in the Hofoldinger forest.
The cost estimates have been revised upwards.
The wind turbines are said to cost 21 instead of the previously estimated 18 million.
Sauerlach
– The wind power project in the Hofoldinger Forest has cleared the next hurdle.
The Sauerlach municipal council passed the so-called implementation resolution for the planned construction of three wind turbines with a large majority - subject to the positive assessment of the project by an economic consulting firm.
In addition, the committee approved a notarial deed for the founding of Windenergie Hofoldinger Forst GmbH.
Windenergie Hofoldinger Forst GmbH is a joint company of the municipalities of Aying, Otterfing and Sauerlach and is to build and operate the wind farm.
Three wind turbines are planned in the forest on the A8. According to the latest estimates, the costs amount to 21 million euros, as Otterfingen Mayor Michael Falkenhahn (SPD) recently announced in the Otterfingen municipal council.
Mayor Bogner: Building is worthwhile
This is also confirmed by Sauerlach's mayor Barbara Bogner (UBV) when asked by Merkur.
So far, there has always been talk of costs of 18 million euros.
Bogner justifies the new number with the previous and expected price increases.
However, she continues to assume that the construction of the wind farm will be worthwhile for the communities involved.
She made that clear at the council meeting.
Falkenhahn recently spoke of a return of five percent - and in his words that is "a cautious value".
Actually, the final review of the profitability calculation for the wind farm should be available by the end of April.
Because the profitability of the planned wind turbines is a prerequisite for the Sauerlach municipal council to agree to the construction of the wind turbine.
The report was not available for the most recent council meeting, but according to Bogner it has now arrived at the town hall.
She does not want to reveal the results yet.
They are now to be presented to the municipal council at the meeting at the end of May.
