As-Suwayda-Sana
The administration of Al-Arabi Club has adopted rugby among the club’s games, under the supervision of coach Sarah Abdel-Baqi and her assistant Al-Yamama Abu Ras.
The club's president, Ihsan Al-Abbas, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that rugby is one of the modern sports in Syria and its adoption in the club came due to the presence of a number of As-Suwayda players within the ranks of the national team, in addition to the demand for practicing it.
Al-Abbas indicated that the game currently falls within the club's female categories, with its training expanding to include male categories during the coming period.
Al-Arabi Club is the largest club in As-Suwayda Governorate, and many team and individual games are played in it.
