Diversity was not as important in any "Germany's Next Top Model" season as it was in season 17. It is important to Heidi Klum to keep showing new faces on her show.

But an agency boss of an international model company does not think much of these aspects.

Los Angeles – The candidates in the 17th season of "Germany's Next Top Model" (all GNTM news on the topic page) are more different than ever.

Top model boss Heidi Klum wants to give women of all ages the chance to win.

But model agency boss Marco Sinervo is sure that the GNTM candidates have no great chances in the industry.

Designers canceled Heidi Klum for "Germany's Next Top Model".

Even before the start of the season, top model boss Heidi Klum admitted in a ProSieben interview that she would have liked the designers to be more flexible.

Because it was difficult to find suitable designers for the show.

"Unfortunately, many well-known designers who had previously promised us have dropped out," says the 48-year-old.

The reason for this was the dimensions of the models.

"You always hear how important diversity is – but when it comes down to it, then somehow not really, as we have experienced first-hand," confirmed the top model boss.

"It's your job to dress people" - Heidi Klum is disappointed in designers

"Right now there is a desire for change, for change - so I would like to say to the fashion designers out there in general: It's your job to dress people - the clothing size shouldn't play a role," says Heidi Klum.

This season, however, also featured designers who understood the concept - and are also convinced that the budding top models are made for every fashion.

Among others, Peter Dundas, Jeremy Scott and Jean Paul Gaultier were there.

Agency boss Marco Sinervo also explained why he thinks that the prospective GNTM top models would have no chance on the market: "Heidi's show has changed the understanding of modeling.

But no candidate really meets the conditions to work successfully as a model," he admitted in an interview with Bunte.

He is certain that the requirements for measurements, height and beauty would be exactly the same as they were in the modeling industry several years ago.

“The show suggests that there is a niche for every applicant, regardless of their looks, age or talent.

I have to regularly take away this illusion from young women who come to us and disappoint them," continues Marco Sinervo.

"Disrespectfully spoken to the team": Ex-GNTM candidate Yasmin talks about breaking the rules in the model show

But many former GNTM candidates became successful and well-known models.

Also ex-GNTM candidate Yasmin Boulaghmal.

She was there last season and has now revealed that GNTM often breaks the rules.
