Iran: Developing our deterrent force to confront the threats of the United States and (Israel)

The Minister of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, stressed that dealing with the threats of the United States of America and the Israeli occupation entity is to strengthen national capabilities and develop the Iranian deterrent force.

During a meeting of senior Iranian Defense Ministry officials today, Ashtiani warned of the efforts of the United States and the Israeli occupation entity to impose their will on the peoples of the region and work to differentiate between its people and incite war between countries and not hesitate to kill innocents, pointing out that on this basis, dealing with these threats is by strengthening National power, developing the deterrent force, supporting the armed forces in its various defensive dimensions, upgrading technical capabilities and equipment, monitoring threats and possessing advanced technology are among the main objectives that the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces are seriously pursuing.

Ashtiani explained that based on these actions, expanding meaningful relations with neighbors and paying attention to foreign policy based on the economy, in addition to supporting and strengthening the resistance front, are among our priorities.

In a related context, the Commander of the Iranian Army's Land Forces, Brigadier General Kiomars Haidari, stressed during the unveiling ceremony of 12 book titles in the Iranian Army's Land Forces Command Center the necessity of acquiring modern science in the major programs of the Iranian army, stressing the importance of acquiring modern sciences.
