A number of members of the People's Assembly, clan elders, popular delegations, religious figures, businessmen, and the head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent offered their condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, at the Emirati embassy in Damascus.
A number of ambassadors and representatives of Arab and foreign embassies in Syria also offered their condolences.
The participants were received by the Acting Chargé d'Affairs of the Emirati Embassy, Sultan Mohammed Al Shehhi.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Eng. Hussein Arnous offered condolences at the UAE Embassy, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa, and Justice Judge Ahmed Al-Sayed.
