Cadillac releases a powerful V version of Escalade. The huge recreational vehicle, receives 682 hp and a price tag accordingly. So far only overseas

The new Cadillac Escalade V takes the luxury formula to the company's formidable proportions and adds mountains of power to it.

The supercharged V8 produces no less than 682 hp here.

This is the most powerful engine that Cadillac has produced in series production and to cope with this power it also gets custom suspensions, large brakes and more.

The cabin also gets special attention, including with an audio system that includes 36 speakers.

The three-seater recreational vehicle will be offered in two body versions: one with a long wheelbase, and the other with a very long wheelbase.

Prices in the US start at $ 150,000.

Between the monsters that BMW and Mercedes produce in terms of price, and in the same breath stronger and faster than both.

Under the hood of the Cadillac Escalade V is the company's familiar 6.2-liter supercharged engine.

Only here it is handmade and gets a bigger supercharger.

The power it produces passes to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Thus, despite a curb weight of almost 3 tons (2,820 kg for the 'short' model), it accelerates to 96 km / h in just 4.4 seconds.
