Saxony's Greens for the first time with a female dual leadership

Saxony's Greens are being led by an all-female dual leadership for the first time.

At a party conference in Neukieritzsch in the Leipzig district on Saturday, the delegates elected the previous incumbent Christin Furtenbacher (37) and Marie Müser (24) as spokespersons for the board.

Furtenbacher received 91.4 percent of the votes, Müser received 72.5 percent.

There were no other candidates.

Neukieritzsch - The Leipzig student Müser succeeds Norman Volger, who did not run again for personal reasons.
