Prominent figures in the organization attack Bar-Lev for his decision to conduct an investigation into the incident during which the police confronted the funeral attendant.

Bad news is happening in the last two days between the Minister of Internal Security, Amar Bar-Lev, and senior police officers.

After on Friday the police responded to the policemen who secured the funeral despite confronting the participants during it, today (Saturday) voices are heard in the police attacking the minister in charge following his intention to conduct an investigation into the incident.

The same senior police officers who spoke to "Israel Today" claim that Minister Bar-Lev informed the commissioner that it was necessary to set up a team to check the conduct of the forces in the incident: "And instead of the minister issuing a statement of support for the police, in the end we have to get up tomorrow morning with the encouragement of an investigation committee."

According to them, there was no defect in the conduct of the police who tried to allow the incident to take place properly: "The police were prepared in advance and worked throughout the day to ensure that the funeral procession proceeded in order.

"The group of rioters gathered in the hospital plaza, before the funeral procession began, shouting incitement and throwing stones and objects. The rioters also caused damage to the funeral vehicle and tried to prevent it from driving the coffin."
