The American occupation continued to steal Syrian oil from Al-Jazirah region, as the occupation forces removed today a convoy of dozens of tanks loaded with oil and vehicles carrying military equipment from Syrian territory towards Iraqi territory through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing.
Local sources from the Yarubiyah countryside told SANA reporter that a convoy of 70 vehicles, including tankers loaded with stolen oil from oil wells occupied by the American forces in the Syrian Jazira, in addition to refrigerators and 15 tankers carrying covered military equipment of the American occupation, accompanied by six armored vehicles, headed through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing to Northern Iraq, a day after 46 vehicles were removed through the same crossing.
The American occupation forces, in collusion with the “Qasd” militia, control the majority of the oil fields in the Syrian al-Jazirah region in the governorates of Hasaka and Deir ez-Zor, and are working to smuggle Syrian oil and sell it abroad to deprive the Syrians of it in flagrant violation of international law.
