The competitions for the second periodic race of purebred Arabian horses, which was held by the Syrian Association of Purebred Arabian Horses and Basil Al-Assad Equestrian Club in Hama, were concluded in the equestrian facility in cooperation with the Horses Office in the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform.

The horse Marjan Hama won the first place in the first half for the pure horses registered fourth degree over a distance of 1350 metres.

The horse Zain Al-Waad won the first place in the fourth race for horses registered for the third degree for a distance of 1350 metres, and the horse Rami Al-Syrian won the title of the fifth race for the horses registered for the first and second degrees for a distance of 1850 metres. The net is the seventh game title for fourth-degree horses aged 4 years and over for a distance of 1650 metres.

The head of the Basil al-Assad Equestrian Club in Hama, Dr. Ghanem Barazi, told SANA that the race witnessed wide participation from the governorates of Hama, Homs, Damascus and Latakia, with a total number of 72 horses, which is a large number that gives a good indication of the increasing interest in these races by horse breeders, indicating that the intense public attendance The race that accompanied the race from all age groups is strong evidence that the sport of parents and grandparents is still receiving attention and follow-up from the current generations.

Yahya Murad, one of the horse breeders who won advanced positions, pointed out that the second periodic race witnessed strong competitions to occupy the first places in all the races. The provinces out of his great love for equestrian sport and his desire for its continuity and development for the better.

It is noteworthy that the equestrian facility in Hama hosted on the first of last April the first periodic race for purebred Arabian horses, with the participation of 63 horses.
