With the aim of expanding the circle of investment in the field of renewable energies and electricity, the activities of the first conference for investment in the electricity and renewable energies sector will be launched tomorrow, Sunday, under the slogan of investment in renewable energies and electricity “the engine of sustainable development in Syria” at the Jasmine House Hotel in Damascus.

The two-day conference aims to present investment opportunities in renewable energies and government investment incentives, search for opportunities to finance renewable energy projects, present and discuss investment challenges and incentives that can be provided to develop investments, encourage private and joint investment in the electricity generation and distribution sector, and find innovative formulas to develop work, in addition to Discuss the experiences of countries in this field.

The conference, which is organized by the Ministry of Electricity and the Massa Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences, will be attended by the Ministries of Energy in friendly countries, the Syrian Investment Authority, the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, the Central Bank of Syria, the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, the Arab Authority for Renewable Energy, in addition to Syrian, Arab and foreign investors.
