A number of Ukrainian army soldiers captured by the Russian forces exposed the practices of their army and its leaders by targeting residential areas and civilians in Donbass, calling on their comrades to lay down their arms because this war does not serve them.
Russia Today website quoted one of the captured soldiers as confirming that the Ukrainian army shoots and targets civilians without discrimination, revealing the army’s intimidating practices for soldiers, saying that “the army leaders use methods to intimidate the recruits and force them to fight.”
In turn, another prisoner made it clear that this war does not concern the soldiers and their participation in it is absurd, calling on his comrades to lay down their arms and stop hostilities because they have no interest in this war.
