A trough of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong.
Parts of Hong Kong recorded over 10 millimetres of rainfall this morning.
Meanwhile, an easterly airstream is affecting the coastal areas.
The weather forecast for Hong Kong today is cloudy, with occasional showers and a few thunderstorms. Showers are more frequent in the morning. The daytime temperature hovers around 23 degrees, and at night the temperature drops to about 21 degrees. Moderately strong winds.

The Observatory forecasts that the showers will decrease later tomorrow, the temperature will drop to about 19 degrees in the morning, and there will be sunshine for a short period of time in the next one or two days.
