"A day full of activity": Olympic champion visits Adidas in Herzogenaurach

A genuine Olympic champion was a guest at the Adidas headquarters.

A real Olympic champion recently visited the headquarters of the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas.

There she reported on her way to the Olympics.

Herzogenaurach – Denise Herrmann, German biathlete, achieved what is probably the biggest coup of her career with her Olympic victory in the individual race.

As a former cross-country skier, she won the gold medal and thus one of two podium finishes for the German biathlon team at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The 33-year-old from Saxony explained how she made it to this highlight during a visit to her sponsor Adidas in Herzogenaurach (Erlangen-Höchstadt district).

She shared with her fans on her Instagram page.

There she posted some photos of the visit to the Adidas headquarters.

She wrote: "A day full of activity, fun and inspiring encounters.

I was also allowed to report on my way to the Olympic Games.

In the process, I became aware of one thing again: Dreams can come true if you are brave, seize opportunities and consistently follow your own path.

Sport has the power to positively impact all of our lives.”

In the photos, of course always dressed in Adidas gear, she can be seen in several locations.

Once she is standing in front of a pool with a photo of her victory at the Olympics on a canvas in the background.

Other times she participates in some sports exercises.

Was that the last visit to Adidas?

Probably not, because the sporting goods manufacturer has been outfitting Denise Herrmann and all other athletes of the DSV national teams in biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping for several years.

It remains to be seen when the Olympic champion will next hit Herzogenaurach.

Maren Hammerschmidt only recently ended her career.
