The Eurovision Song Contest starts in a few hours.

Malik Harris sings for Germany and hopes to collect as many points as possible.

Fans rate his chances of winning as rather weak.

Turin, Italy - Finally it's that time again!

The Eurovision Song Contest (all ESC news on the topic page here) is entering the next round.

Malik Harris is representing Germany this year, but fans rate the chances of victory as pretty slim.

Malik Harris will represent Germany at the ESC 2022

On May 14th from 9 p.m., 25 countries will fight for the ESC victory 2022 (here all participating countries).

Also present is Malik Harris, who will sing his song "Rockstarts" on the stage in Turin.

He is the follow-up to Jendrik, who placed 25th last year with his song "I Don't Feel Hate".

But even before the grand finale, Malik Harris was criticized.

So many people on the net claim that Germany would again be in last place this year (everything about the scoring at the ESC).

ESC fans rate Malik Harris' chances of winning ESC 2022

Mario Hanousek reports live from Turin for IPPEN.MEDIA and can already collect first impressions of the fans before the final starts.

One fan is rather hopeful: "It can't be as bad as last year!" She laughs and adds that she would see Malik Harris in midfield.

Ukraine, Sweden and Great Britain are currently considered fan favorites.
