For justice it is formally a closed case, by a definitive sentence of acquittal of the only accused.

But the family members of Sonia Marra, a 25-year-old student from Specchia (Lecce) who disappeared from Perugia on November 16, 2006 and was never found, do not give up and so their lawyer, Alessandro Vesi, is now engaged in a work of reviewing everything the procedural material.

From which also emerges an interception of 2011 between a seminarian at the time and a parish priest: "Do you know what they did to that girl? They chopped her up. They will never find hers. They threw it in the garbage. ", they say.

An interview now also contained in the book "The black man. The disappearance of Sonia Marra" by the journalist Alvaro Fiorucci.

"Sonia Marra's is now a cold case", the lawyer Vesi told ANSA today.

"Now - he added - we are however doing a work of reviewing all the procedural documents in search of an idea that could be useful for the reopening of the investigation. Only at that point it will be possible to formalize an instance".

Criminologist Roberta Bruzzone, who has already been interested in some of the major cases of Italian news in recent years, is also collaborating in the rereading of the documents.

The interception in which it is claimed that the young woman was "chopped" was carried out in the context of another investigation, for drugs.

According to the records of the trial, the protagonists of the interview have already been heard by the investigators in recent years and one of them reported that he had invented everything.

No procedural developments subsequently arose from the interception.

However, it is now in the material that the lawyer and the consultants of the Marra family are reviewing.

"The very long and exhausting trial told us that Sonia was killed by a refined mind. We still have faith in justice, so look for this refined mind, illuminate the dark aspects indicated in the sentences, find the body to have at least a tomb to cry over "said Anna Marra, Sonia's sister, on the occasion of the publication of Fiorucci's book.

The young woman mysteriously disappeared from the house where she lived near the center of Perugia, where she was studying to become a biomedical laboratory technician.

The Prosecutor had hypothesized a murder with the subsequent concealment of the corpse and the investigations also touched environments close to the ecclesiastical world of the Umbrian capital.

The presumed responsible indicated by the investigators, however, after having always denied all responsibility, was acquitted in the first and second degree and then definitively in the Supreme Court.
