Female netizens pointed out that after the incident, they sought help from the fire department and the Love Association, and successfully rescued two kittens by "leading cats out of their holes" by feeding them cat food.
The video uploaded by the female netizen shows that she and another enthusiastic man used a flashlight to check the situation of the pit, but there was no sign of the kitten, only the sound of cat meowing many times.
The man estimated that several kittens were trapped. Fortunately, the rainfall in the past two days has not been too much, and the water level in the canal is not high, otherwise the kittens may drown.
Both of them were helpless, suspecting that the mother cat left the kittens, and the female netizen also estimated that "it should be the waves nearby, who may have been trapped because of shelter from the rain."

The rescuers then opened the canal cover, put the long ladder into the canal, and found that the cat was hiding in the canal hole, so they put the cat food on a paper plate and placed it at the mouth of the hole to try to "lead the cat out of the hole".
