88-year-old missing: large search operation

An 88-year-old was reported missing in Schöngeising on Saturday evening.
He was searched for with helicopters and dogs.

Large contingent in Schöngeising: An 88-year-old was reported missing on Saturday evening.
He was searched for with helicopters and dogs.
As reported by the police, the man, who has dementia, disappeared from his home in Schöngeising around 9 a.m.
He lives there with a caretaker.
A neighbor then saw him again around 11 a.m.
After the 88-year-old didn't come home, his son reported him missing.
The search started.
The police combed the area with dogs at night.
A helicopter was also used to search.
The man was only found on Sunday morning - in the forest between Schöngeising and Grafrath.
According to the circumstances, he is doing well, a police spokesman said.
