The Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics launched today at its headquarters the “Scientific Programming Week” in cooperation with 5 software companies and with the participation of experts from the private sector to transfer their expertise in this field through specialized free workshops.
The 5-day workshop includes topics that include the programmer's roadmap, web developer skills and tools, mobile developer skills and tools, systems analyst skills and tools, and international standards and standards for software products.
A member of the Administrative Committee of the Society, Eng. Muhammad Al-Ajard, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the aim of the workshop, which targets 70 trainees from the College of Informatics and Communications Engineering, students of information technology institutes and recent graduates, is to network with partners in the private sector and transfer expertise to graduate engineers and students of recent years, in addition to those interested. Programming in order to familiarize them with the most important skills and tools that qualify them to enter the labor market.
For his part, the CEO of Al-Yasir company specialized in the field of software, Muhammad Al-Hajj, said that his participation today under the title “The Programmer’s Roadmap” aims to introduce university students and recent graduates to the scientific steps that will help them to actually start the software work in order to link them to the labor market, through analyzing the software market and clarifying areas It is required that it is constantly changing.
At the end of the workshop, the association grants the trainees a certificate of attendance certified by it, which constitutes a tributary to them in their field of work and an added value to their expertise in this field.
