Whose voice made it clear that he would continue to discuss Roman Zadorov's case • "I expressed my displeasure with statements heard in the courtroom"

After the head of the panel at Roman Zadorov's trial, Judge Asher Kola, caused a stir when he turned around two weeks ago in an unusual way, saying at the hearing that he was under heavy pressure, "not only from the media but also from sources you do not know," he clarified. Because "I expressed my displeasure with statements heard in the courtroom and everything as detailed in the minutes."

"For the avoidance of doubt I would like to clarify that I did not attribute to any factor 'illegal acts' just as I did not attribute to 'unknown factors' the use of improper pressure," Judge Cola said.

"I will add and master this case, as in all the other cases I am discussing, with a willing mind and an open heart and only the fear of law and the fear of heaven are upon me."

As you may recall, Judge Cola addressed the prosecution during the hearing about two weeks ago, with whom he already had quite a bit of friction during the trial.

"I had a black Passover. I was pressured not only by the media but also by people you do not know. I was close to disqualifying myself. I did not do it just because of the mother of the deceased," he said at the time.

"I say these things with a very heavy heart. My friends know that I have a very hard heart in this case. There are other things that I do not want to reveal all of them now.

"I can not discuss this case willingly when the prosecution does what it does. It blames me and there is a personal campaign against me that has fingerprints on it. As long as the expression of distrust continues I will have to consider my steps on all that this implies."

Following this, the State Attorney's Office sent a letter requesting that the hearings in the case be adjourned until the matter is clarified.

The court rejected the prosecution's request to stop the evidence in Roman Zadorov's retrial.

The court's decision stated that "for the avoidance of doubt and all witnesses and there will be no legal impediment, the trial will continue in order."

The judiciary reacted to the decision of the judge Asher Kola, the head of the tribunal to continue the Zadorov trial.
