Several people were injured during the space storm after Werder Bremen was promoted to the Bundesliga.
In connection with the collective entering the field, the Bremen police spoke of more than 20 injuries on Sunday evening, some of whom had to be taken to the hospital.
The further investigations are ongoing, it said.
Bremen – The second division soccer team had previously made it clear that they were second in the table with a 2-0 (1-0) win against Jahn Regensburg.
Shortly before the final whistle, the first fans ran towards the pitch in the Weser Stadium, which was sold out with 41,000 spectators.

After the game, the team celebrated the end of the season in the "immediate environment" of the Weser Stadium on Sunday evening, and celebrations on Monday on the market square were avoided in common agreement with the city of Bremen for reasons of "safety, reason and short-termism", as Werder announced.
But as early as Sunday evening, more “physical altercations” were reported.
"Are you celebrating!
But keep it peaceful!” the police tweeted.
