It is a huge construction project - and it is supported by the state parliament.
The conversion and expansion of the fire brigade school in Geretsried is funded.
Geretsried – Conversion and expansion of the state fire service school in Geretsried are progressing.
The budget committee of the Bavarian state parliament approved around 1.3 million euros for the first project planning of the second partial construction measure.
"We have thus created the prerequisites for the preparation of a huge construction project, which includes a garbage station in addition to a new accommodation and farm building with underground parking," says Martin Bachhuber, a member of the CSU constituency.

He is a member of the budget committee.
The sum corresponds to around three percent of the costs for the almost 42 million euro new building on the site.
In the 166 meter long and almost 20 meter wide building, the overnight capacity is to be increased by 89 beds to a total of 203 beds.
