The big ESC finale starts on May 14th.

Malik Harris will be at the start for Germany with "Rockstars".

In an interview with IPPEN.MEDIA, shortly before his big performance, he spoke about the exciting time in Turin.

Turin – On May 14th from 8.15 p.m. the time has finally come: The grand finale of the “Eurovision Song Contest” (all news about the ESC 2022) will take place in Turin.

Malik Harris has qualified for Germany.

IPPEN.MEDIA reporter Mario Hanousek is on site and spoke to the singer before his big performance.

It becomes clear: Malik is completely exhausted before the finale, because the last few days seem to have left quite a mark on him.

ESC: Preparations for the grand finale are in full swing

After the semi-finals are over, the fans' anticipation of the ESC final increases (you'll always be up to date with our live ticker).

Ten countries, including Germany, previously qualified for the May 14 show.

Malik Harris will start with his song "Rockstars".

Preparations are already in full swing.

Does that increase excitement?

Not with Malik, as he clarified in an interview with IPPEN.MEDIA: "I'm very relaxed, I'm really looking forward to the performance and enjoying everything.

It really is a wild journey that you go on here.

It's a lot of fun, especially after the Corona period," says the "Rockstars" interpreter.

Nevertheless, the time in Turin seems to have left its mark on Malik.

Because sleeping a lot is out of the question, as he reveals to IPPEN.MEDIA reporter Mario Hanousek.

He is currently on his feet from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. (You can find the starting order for ESC 2022 here.

"I'm just functioning, I'm just living from hour to hour because every day is so packed.

It's been like this for a few weeks.

Every day from eight o'clock in the morning until one o'clock at night, here in Turin it's usually even three o'clock at night.

But I want to experience this hustle and bustle again after Corona.

Sometimes a little more sleep would be cool

," says the 24-year-old.

ESC 2022: Germany has a bad chance of winning

But soon he has made it and can let all the impressions of the ESC in Germany sink in.

Before that, however, he has to give everything again in the grand final to bring victory with him.

However, his chances don't seem to be quite as good as hoped.

With odds of 1 to 251 to 1 to 351, a victory for Germany's ESC candidate Malik Harris and his title "Rockstars" is probably unlikely.

But hope dies last.

In any case, we wish the 24-year-old every success!
