The German airline, which has been operating direct flights from Tel Aviv to Hamburg for the past two months at a price starting at 99 euros, announced last weekend that it would cease operations earlier than expected, following a process of insolvency.
The company's website reads: "Dear passengers, we have submitted an application to open insolvency proceedings for our company on May 12, 2022. We have first suspended flights until May 21, 2022. We are working with potential investors so that we can resume flight operations. We will update you on developments. More ".
The difficulties in the company, they claim, stem, among other things, from high fuel prices, the war in Ukraine and other reasons.
In early February, Israel Today published for the first time about a new airline with a very interesting name - Tel Aviv Air.
The company was founded at the end of 2020, and is owned by two German businessmen with extensive experience in the field of tourism and aviation.
One is Paul Skodlero, a former senior executive at German Airlines, and the other is Shlomo Almagor, an Israeli who has lived in Germany for about 30 years.

The airline has applied to the German court for protection against creditors in order to attract investors - and some say they are already interested, so there is still a chance that the company will return to work later.
And what about the customers who have already ordered tickets - since the company reported a high demand for flights from Germany and Israel?
