The festival, which was organized by the Homs branch of the pioneers of the Baath, included a storyteller trained by Muhammad Khair Al-Kilani, Arada Homsieh, traditional singing for children, Youssef Ibrahim, Hala Wannous, and Doha Al-Mayass band, traditional playing and singing by folk artist Farhan Al-Ashkar, and a solo violinist by Marwan Ghariba, in addition to a folk arts segment trained by Minister Ayoub. And a paragraph honoring a number of children and those who support the work of the organization.

In statements to SANA’s reporter, the head of the Vanguards of the Ba’ath Organization, Izzat Arabi Katbi, indicated that the festival is an attempt by the organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, to consolidate the authentic heritage that belongs to each governorate, stressing the necessity of transmitting this heritage through history because it expresses our identity and preserving it is part of preserving our present and our future. And our originality, noting that a central celebration will be held for all the provinces in Aleppo in front of its citadel in this context.

A member of the leadership of the Homs branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Branch, head of the Fine Arts Office, Faten al-Mahmoud, noted the importance of the folklore heritage, which represents a cultural and civilized history of Syria that extends back thousands of years, pointing to the need to familiarize current generations with it and preserve it to continue for future generations.

Regarding the heritage exhibition, the supervisor, Reem Ibrahim, indicated that it includes a number of archaeological and heritage pieces from the town of Al-Mushrifa presented by children from the Younes Al-Dalati School in a lyrical style, with work on each instrument, including (the mill, the coffee roaster, the stone jar and the old kitchen utensils).

The coach of the storyteller and the showrunner, artist Muhammad Khair Kilani, indicated that the paragraphs talk about the importance of the Arabic language in the Homsi heritage, including chants and chants, the seven doors of Homs, and the people of Homs and their nature.

Among the children participating in the sessions, Lubana Al-Qasim - Shahd Hussein - Selina Ibrahim, Abdul Rahman Suleiman and Omar Mumji, indicated that the Vanguard Organization provided the opportunity for them to participate in showing their heritage and the beauty and originality that it carries within an enjoyable artistic form and under the supervision of the most skilled professors.

The festival was attended by Omar Houriya, Secretary of the Homs Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, the Secretary of the Homs Branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Khaled Janiyat, a member of the leadership of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization, Head of the Theater and Music Office, Waddah Sawas, and Director of Homs Education and educational, party and civil activities.
