Forgot food on the stove: large-scale operation in Olchinger city center

A man had forgotten food on the stove.

A large contingent of rescue workers therefore moved to Olchinger Hauptstrasse on Sunday morning.

Large contingent of rescue workers on Sunday morning in Olchinger Hauptstrasse: Heavy smoke came from an apartment.

There was no trace of the resident.

Around 5:20 a.m., the rescue workers went to the scene.

Heavy smoke was coming from an apartment on the third floor.

The resident did not open the door or answer the phone.

You assumed the worst.

So the fire brigade broke down the door.

The all-clear was quickly given: the man had left a pot of food on the stove.

It smoked heavily, but not burned.

The apartment was aired, the pot with the burnt food was disposed of.

And the fire brigade, police and rescue service were able to move away again.
