Greens leader Ricarda Lang has formulated conditions for future government participation after her party made significant gains in the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia.
She did not want to commit to a possible coalition on Sunday on ZDF.
“It all depends on one thing.
Namely, those who are convincingly willing to join us on the path to a climate-neutral and digital future, to create more social justice and to strengthen cohesion in NRW," said Lang.
Berlin - your party achieved the historically best result in North Rhine-Westphalia and a week ago the historically best result in Schleswig-Holstein.
"And I think that shows that people believe we have up-to-date answers," Lang said.
People realized that it was about becoming independent of Russian fossil fuels as quickly as possible and about security in times of change.
The people would have “fancy a real political change with green”.
