Earlier this year Honda announced that it will introduce a new recreational vehicle destined for Europe in 2023. Now, the Japanese manufacturer is revealing the name of the new vehicle and a few more details.

The name of the new vehicle is the Honda ZR-V and it will be integrated between the HR-V and the CR-V.
The compact recreational vehicle, which will enter the hottest category on the market, will be mechanically based on the new Civic.
Honda plans to launch a hybrid or full electric propulsion in all of its vehicles marketed in Europe by the end of the year, so the ZR-V is expected to use Honda's hybrid system.
There are no official photos yet, nor any more details, but illustrations released by the company show a look quite similar to that of the HR-V that will be shown for the US market.
If the similarity is not just external then perhaps the data of the next American HR-V, offered with hybrid propulsion in two volumes and two power levels (129 hp and 181 hp), can hint at what to expect from a recreational vehicle designed for Europe.
