Summer is approaching with big steps.
This is not only evident from the rising temperatures.
The outdoor pool season has also started at Tegernsee.
Rottach-Egern
- Fancy summer?
The temperatures in the past week have already offered a foretaste of the warm season.
Appropriately, the outdoor pool season at Tegernsee also started at the weekend: the lake and warm pool in Rottach-Egern opened its doors for the first time on Saturday (May 14).
Although clouds kept covering the sun and weather-wise Saturday was the worse of the two weekend days, quite a number of visitors didn't miss the opportunity and dared to take a first swim in the open air.
However, since the water in the pools is heated, this required far less daring than a dip in the lake.
Admission prices in the Seebad and Warmbad have remained stable
Incidentally, the admission prices in the Seebad and Warmbad remain unchanged this year, the community decided not to increase them despite rising energy prices.
The pool is now open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Wednesdays, early swimmers can swim their lengths from 7 a.m. onwards.
In addition, the municipal council has decided to extend the bathing time and thus the season by 14 days this year: This means that the Rottacher Warmbad will be welcoming bathers until September 25 for the first time this year.
But first of all, they hope that the summer will really get going.
