Today, Iraqi security forces arrested seven terrorists in the capital, Baghdad.
Alsumaria News quoted the Iraqi Ministry of Interior as saying in a statement today, "The security forces in the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest seven terrorists in security operations," noting that the arrested were taken to police stations to take the necessary legal measures against them.
Yesterday, the Iraqi forces arrested eight terrorists following several separate security operations carried out today in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
On the other hand, the Popular Mobilization Authority announced that its forces carried out an inspection operation east of Anbar, which included securing the areas adjacent to Lake Tharthar in search of wanted persons according to judicial arrest warrants.
