IDF fighter Noam Raz, who was killed last week in an exchange of gunfire near Jenin, is being laid to rest on Mount Herzl today (Sunday).



Prime Minister Naftali Bennett paid tribute to Raz at the beginning of the cabinet meeting. Years, during which he participated in many actions to protect the security of Israeli citizens.

Noam was a lover of Israel and a hero of Israel.

Raz was injured in an operation by IDF forces, the GSS and the YMCA, which surrounded a building where he was wanted, in order to prevent a terrorist attack that was expected to take place.

This morning, Raz's family decided to donate his organs, the National Transplant Center said.
