For the second day in a row, official and popular delegations continued to attend the Emirati embassy in Damascus to offer their condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

The duty of condolences was offered by the Deputy Speaker of the People's Assembly, Muhammad Akram Al-Ajlani, accompanied by a number of members of the Assembly.

The duty of condolences was also offered by sheikhs, clan dignitaries, popular delegations, representatives of some institutions, businessmen, a number of ambassadors and representatives of Arab embassies in Syria, in addition to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Damascus, Alexander Yefimov, and the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Syria, Imran Rida.

The participants were greeted with a duty of condolences, Chargé d'Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Damascus Abdul Hakim Al Nuaimi, Acting Chargé d'Affairs Sultan Muhammad Al Shehhi and a number of embassy diplomats.

The Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Minister of Local Administration, Environment, Education and Justice, a number of official figures, members of the People's Assembly, clan elders, popular delegations, religious figures and businessmen, offered their condolences at the Emirati embassy in Damascus.
