One person was killed and five others were injured when a small plane crashed on a bridge and collided with a car in Miami, Florida, USA.
Sky News quoted the authorities as saying: The accident occurred yesterday on the Holfer Inlet Bridge, which led to the closure of traffic on the bridge, noting that two people managed to leave the plane, while the body of the only dead 36-year-old was found after the fire was extinguished, a traffic controller. Air Force One was working at the air traffic control tower in Miami.
Five people were injured in the accident, including two who were on the plane, who were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Federal Aviation Administration officials said there were three people on board the single-engine Cessna 172 that crashed, causing it to crash into a vehicle before burning.
In turn, Alvaro Zabaleta, a Miami police spokesman, said: The plane collided with the car head-on, explaining that a woman and two children aged two and six years who were in the car were taken to the hospital.
