The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the plight of the Palestinian people continues through the continuation of the Israeli occupation, which expands settlements and fights the Palestinian presence in light of the international community's double standards that encourage the occupation to persist in its crimes.
In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry stated that the anniversary of the Nakba is passing this year and the Palestinian people are still paying high prices for their land, their lives, their blood and the future of their generations, amid a state of hypocrisy that dominates the foreign policy of many Western countries in their dealing with the crimes of the occupation that they commit in the eyes and ears of the world without Respect for international conventions and laws.
The Foreign Ministry called for the necessity of implementing the UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue, foremost of which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of refugees to return to their homes from which the occupation abandoned them.
