RAAM announced tonight (Sunday) that as part of its agreements with the coalition, the government has decided on a new layout in matters of planning and construction that will allow extensions to houses up to a size of 70 square meters without receiving demolition orders or fines.
A statement issued by the party in Arabic states that this is part of a new agreement between the RAAM and the government that includes "an important government decision regarding the unrecognized villages in the Negev - addition and extension to houses up to 70 square meters, do not expose them to demolition or fine."
As part of the talks to resolve the crisis around the Temple Mount, RAAM provided the coalition with a list of civic economic demands, most of which relate to clauses of the coalition agreement that have not yet been implemented. The new decision will expand the range by an additional 20 square meters.
