Resistance to power line: New citizens' initiative is founded

For the replacement of the high-voltage line from Oberbachern to Ottenhofen, the route that is close to the existing one is preferred.
There is now resistance to this.
Ottenhofen
– Transmission system operator Tennet is planning to replace the high-voltage line from Oberbachern (Dachau district) to Ottenhofen.
As reported, two corridor variants were brought into the process in the Finsing/Ottenhofen/Neuching area: a course along the state road 2580 and thus very close to the existing one and a new route through the Finsinger Holz were up for debate.
Both alternatives correspond to the requirements of spatial planning.
Now there is resistance to the variant close to the stock.
Johann Auerweck and Robert Riexinger therefore invite you to the founding meeting of the citizens' initiative "Power line YES, but at a distance to Ottenhofen and Neuching/Lausbach".
Meeting point is on Thursday, May 19, at 7.30 p.m. at the machine hall in Steiler 1 in the municipality of Ottenhofen to see the masts in nature.

The two organizers explain that according to the currently completed spatial planning, the project developer is currently orienting itself on the existing road, “whereby the alternative Finsinger Holz route was examined and also considered permissible in terms of state planning.
At present, however, this corridor is not being pursued further by the project developer, although it has more advantages," says the invitation.
It is aimed at "all interested citizens who support a rerouting of the power line in the Ottenhofen/Lausbach area on the Finsinger Holz route alternative".
The municipality of Finsing, on the other hand, should not be happy about this initiative: last summer they vehemently opposed the power line through the wood (we reported).
