Serious car accident near Deining: rescue helicopter in action

Three cars collided between Sauerlach and Deining on Friday.

A woman from Wolfratshaus was seriously injured.

– A serious accident involving three vehicles occurred on state road 2072 between Sauerlach and Deining last Friday.

As reported by the Wolfratshausen police, a Tölzer (43) drove towards Deining at around 1.30 p.m.

According to the police, shortly after the turnoff to Bruckenfischer, on the Lohberg, he crashed into the car of a woman from Wolfratshaus (59) in front of him out of inattentiveness.

The force of the impact pushed their vehicle onto the car in front of them, a Tölzer (50).

In this collision, the woman from Wolfratshausen was seriously injured.

In order to treat them, the fire department had to remove the roof of the vehicle.

She was then flown to Harlaching Hospital in a rescue helicopter.

The person who caused the accident had to be taken to Harlaching in an ambulance.

The third person involved was lucky in the misfortune, he was unharmed.

The state highway was closed for an hour.

25 rescue workers from the Deining and Egling fire brigades were on duty, as well as two emergency doctors.
