A Skoda became independent on Sunday morning (May 15) in the area of the Gmund cemetery and rolled down a slope.
Luckily the car got stuck in the bushes.
Gmund
– As reported by the police, the driver of the car, an 82-year-old from Gmund, parked the Skoda at around 8.30 a.m. at the cemetery in Gmund to attend to grave care.
According to the police, because the man had not properly secured the vehicle, it rolled down the slope towards Mannhardtstraße – the unmanned vehicle got stuck in the bushes there.
The Gmund fire brigade arrived.
She secured the car to prevent it from slipping again and pulled it back into the parking lot with the help of a tow truck.
There was damage to the ground in the amount of around 300 euros.
It was still unclear on Sunday whether damage had also occurred to the car.
The car should first be examined in a workshop.
